E-GOLD AND ATM

Because of the impressive and impeccable records of E-Gold Ltd over the

years, they have now been licensed to allow their account holders operate

ATM Debit cards which gives them 24 hour access to their funds

anywhere they are in the world. These cards are called ATM Gold Cards.

There are different versions of the ATM Gold Cards - MasterCard version,

Cirrus/Maestro version etc. You can obtain a Cirrus Maestro ATM Gold Card

(or a MasterCard ATM Gold Card) and use it to make withdrawals from any of

the numerous ATM machines in Nigeria. Both companies (i.e. Cirrus Maestro

Cards Inc. and MasterCard Inc.) now have bilateral agreements with banks like

UBA,ZENITH, and ECOBANK. I believe, with the ongoing consolidation of

banks, more mega bank will join this network. Now, with this agreement in

place, you can obtain any of the ATM Gold Cards from

http://www.bluebanking.com for about $10.00! You can upload money directly

from your e-gold account onto the card and withdraw it from any of the

designated ATM machines in the world. The number of ATM machines for

these companies in Nigeria today is increasing by the day and you can get

more information on this from the above listed banks.

The only snag with this Card thing is that the ATM machines won't pay

you in dollars. Instead, they read the amount of dollars that is loaded in

your card and then convert it to the local currency of wherever you are. For

instance, you will be paid in Naira if you use your card in Nigeria and if you

take the same card to Ghana, the ATMs there will pay you in Cedis! You can

load your card from your e-gold account through the several options you will

be given when you order the card. Loading the card usually takes less than 10

minutes! And you do it yourself! I am aware that some big hotels and resorts

in Nigeria have such ATM machines; EKO Hotel, Transcorp Hilton, and

Silverbird Cinema are just a few of them.
